In this lesson, we will learn the basics of Python such as variables, strings, booleans, arithmetic operations:

  1. Variables

In Python, when we store data in a variable, an assignment operator is used(=)

2. Arithmetic

Arithmetic operators are used with numbers to do common mathematical operations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, modulus, exponentiation, and floor division(rounds the result down to the nearest whole number)

3. Strings

4. Booleans

In Python, Boolean is a data type used to store two values, True and False. In lines 1–6, all values passed are falsy values, so their boolean values are False. In Python, an empty string, empty lists, empty dictionaries are falsy values.

In lines 8 - 10, you see comparison operation either evaluated True or False.

This lesson is just an introduction to variables, strings, booleans, and arithmetic operations.
